There are a number of eateries including coffee shops, a hotel, bars, restaurants and takeaways. So you can literally park the car when you arrive and forget about it, as everything you need is on hand. Close to the prom there is a children's splash pool which is open in the summer months, a children's play area and tennis court. There are plans to develop the pleasure gardens and colonade to provide a restaurant, gallery and viewing area. More information is available on the East Lindsey District Council website. The concrete promenade runs for approximately five miles from Mablethorpe in the North to Huttoft Car Terrace in the South and has ramp access, providing stunning views across the Blue Flag Beach and the North Sea and walking/cycling access to neighbouring villages.

The larger nearby town of Mablethorpe is just over three miles away and has a wider range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as amusement arcades, ten pin bowling, a cinema and a small fun fair. Queen's Park to the south of the town, has a paddling pool, boating lake, tennis courts, bowling, putting and crazy golf.

The market town of Alford is approximately seven miles away and has a range of shops and a market every Tuesday. Craft markets are held in Alford on bank holidays and the Alford Craft Market Shop is open all year round, selling beautiful local wares.

For those wishing to venture slightly further afield, the beautiful market town of Louth is about a 30 minute drive away. With markets on a Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as well as a range of independent shops, bars, restaurants and cafes, Louth is definitely worth a visit. Hubbards Hills, a local beauty spot with a river in the Lincolnshire Wolds, is just on the outskirts of Louth.
