How to book, availability & prices

For best prices, please contact Lesley directly, see the 'Contact' page for details. If you prefer to book online, then Blue Boat Cottage can also be booked through VRBO, but please note booking fees will apply.  

Booking policies:
Break duration and check in/out times: Between September and May, 3 night (Fri-Mon), 4 night (Mon-Fri) and 7 night breaks are available. From June to August all breaks are 7 nights, starting on a Friday. Check in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am. Flexibility on booking duration and check in/out times may be possible depending on bookings. Please let us know if you have any special requirements.

Payment and cancellation policy: If booking directly with Lesley, a 20% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking, with the remainder due eight weeks before your holiday. Payments are accepted by bank transfer. If cancelling more than eight weeks before your holiday, you will lose your deposit unless you rebook alternative dates. If cancelling less then eight weeks and more than four weeks before your holiday you will receive a 50% refund (less deposit). Cancellations made less than four weeks before your holiday will receive no refund.

Dogs:
We welcome well behaved dogs at Blue Boat Cottage. There is a £20 pet fee per dog, per stay. Please see our 'Dogs' page for more information.

Beach hut:
Our beach hut 'Freda's Folly' is available for guests to use. It is located on Sutton on Sea's Central promenade, just on the edge of the dog friendly part of the beach. The beach hut is available in return for a donation to The Marfan Trust, a charity established to carry out research into, educate people about and support those suffering with Marfan Syndrome. Please ask for further information when booking.
